asterisk log analyzer
Please point me to a simple analyzer tool that parses asterisk log
files. I do not want a web based or java application,
Just a script that parses the logs and extracts highest priority
information, ideally something I can put in a pipe (not to smoke).

Best way to recording the hold time for a Queue agent or an extension
Hi Everyone,
We are using Queuemetrics but it doesn't Record the Hold Time as it's never
logged on the queue_log file. However, when an agent or an extension presses
HOLD button on their phone, asterisk does create an event for Music On Hold
which is logged in the /var/log/asterisk/full.
I want to record the total hold time for an extension and save it with an
epoch time stamp.

show queue's name and other info in incoming call to queue member
hello,
I've callcenter and our queue members want to see on their IP phone's
display queue's name , from which incoming call was originated, for
example "<client's_number> -> Sales". This problem appears when one member
can belong to couple queues. Work around would be setting calling name with
such information.

Dialplan Gurus? Can Asterisk 1.4x CHANNEL function be used to retrieve info about OTHER channels?
Hi Everyone,
I want to know if a specific codec type is used at least one. For example, I
want to know if out of the 100 calls on the system if there is a 1 channel
that is running G.729 codec right now. If using dial-plan and I dial in, I
can use this to obtain information about CURRENT channel. But it won't allow
me to obtain information about OTHER channels and that is what I want to do.

It look like there are some free (open source) tools that are used for Asterisk reporting special for call center (to see number of agents logged in, number of calls now, .. etc), and to be used as dashboard.
Can someone direct me for something really is suitable and stable?

queue issue
I have a _very_ specific situation where I need queues to work in a very
specific manner - I need the queue to only accept one call at a time,
even though several phones are attached to it.
My memory tells me that queues might have even worked this way in the
distant past (pre 1.0)...but I am willing to be mistaken.
Is this even remotely possible?

Timeout for Queue
Hello,
We had an incident recently where a call was in queue for an extended period of time. We use queuemetrics for reporting, and it reports that the call was waiting for 20 minutes. The different thing about it is that the disconnect reason is stated as Timeout. Is there a set maximum time a call will wait in the queue before being automatically disconnected? Setting SIP header on agent calls made by a queue
Hello list,
I am trying to set a custom SIP header on all calls that are made by the app
queue because I want to track a certain state at the SIP level.
If I use the following code:
exten => s,n,SIPAddHeader(X-Unique-ID: ${UNIQUEID})
exten => s,n,Queue(myQueue)
this works fine for the FIRST call made from the queue to an agent; but if
that call does not go through, it's not repeated

Asterisk Queue ACD when the queues and agents has the same priority/weight
Hello,
I have three queues (F1,F2,F3) with default queue weight and three
agents (A1,A2,A2) with default agent penalty. If the three agents are
busy and tt same time a caller (C1) enter in the queue F1, and after
20 seconds a second caller (C2) enter in the queue F2. So, few seconds
later, the agent (A1) state comes to availabe. In this case the
asterisk deliveries the caller (C2) to agent (A1),

Asterisk 1..8 multiple queue
Hey Guys!
We had migrate asterisk 1.2 to 1.8 now big issue is queue system. Before we had 3 queues and we were using AgentCallbackLogin but now its quite difficult to use AddQueueMember.
Is there any easy way to logged into multiple queue using AddQueueMember ? and restrict agent for specific queue ?

Asterisk Queue Call Transfer
Hi
I've configured the queue on my asterisk box and everything is working fine.
In my queue I've 3 agents logged in the queue. When call comes they are able
to receive the calls without any problem. But some time they are on break
and there extension rings and no one is there to answer the call (we don't
want them to log off from the queue) but we have one normal user in the same
