wine users - Jul 2011 - Way to specify alsa sound device on command line?

Is there an environment variable I can specify the alsa sound device with?

I read the documentation but could only find such options for OSS:

I want to run a tool with wine and captute the sound, like described here:
http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Recording_audio_playing_on_the_computer#Using_the_ALSA_PCM_file


If there is a way, please update the docs as well ;)

No, there isn't. Only via registry. See Alsa Driver keys here:
