Does Wine use past the first 64MB on any video card?
Does Wine use past the first 64MB on any video card? This question applies to all wine versions. I have heard it stated before that wine only uses the first 64MB on your video card either in direct3d or opengl modes. Is this true? If it is true is there a registry entry that can be added to make wine use past the first 64MB on your video card? I apprecaite your help in this matter?

Crysis first level load crash.
Hi I more or less followed the AppDB how to (http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=10107&iTestingId=59999) for Crysis. Copying in the DLLs failed to solve the problem, so I rather installed directX9 from the latest winetricks as suggested in the other Crysis version

Installing wine-gecko locally
I seem to remember seeing something about being able to install wine-gecko on your local machine (though not in ~/.wine, but rather somewhere like /usr/local). Anyone know anything about this? I'm downloading it alot for bug triage, and wouldn't mind caching it locally. -Austin

On the appdp, one person said "To avoid white characters in the game set the parameter "UseGLSL" in the wine registry to value "disabled". So the game

How does wine "detect" graphicscard-hardware
Hi, To clarify, when I run World of Warcraft and go into Options to change the graphics settings I get this message on some options: "Unsupported for graphics related reasons". So I was wondering if wine "detects" the graphics hardware and make some kind of registry entry with that information of some sort? Or how does that work? Is it possible to change that information so

VideoMemorySize registry key not being applied? [wine-1.1.2]
I am using Ubuntu Hardy, using the latest release of wine from the wine repos. I have an nVidia 7600GT with 256MB of video memory. One windows game i installed, Medal of Honor Allied Assault, has a simple config utility that sets game settings based on your hardware. This utility is detecting only 64MB of video memory. How can we improve WNE?
Hello everybody. I'm a (quite) happy WINE user, but i would like to propose some things to the WINE developers. Something important imo, is that it must be easy to use for the user, and some things could be better, here are some ideas to improve it by using Winecfg: 1. Add an option to disable/enable/edit debug channels for all programs. As you may know, a lot of programs runs faster
