glm problem
Hello, I have a weird problem here. What I want to do is that I need to draw 1000 samples from a matrix, and use glm on them. when I used this command, it runs without the problem > qdata.glm = glm(X258 ~ ., family = binomial, data = q2data[sample(dim(q2data)[1], 1000), ]) but if I drew the sample first and run glm() on that sample, it gave a warning. > qdata.sample =

How to delete Apps from the AppDB?
Hi, I maintain several apps in the appdb. I lately discovered 2 unmaintained apps that are exactly the same that I maintain but which remain in a different category. I adopted them and tried to merge them with the ones that are in the correct section. But how do I delete the "old" apps? I couldn't find an option for that. Thanks in advance. Henner

Wiki - consensus about personal pages?
Hi guys, I'd like to know if there is a consensus about linking to personal websites on the personal wiki page every new user gets in the wiki. I maintain several games in the AppDB and created a wiki page recently describing some tricks for AppDB maintainers. I also created a personal wiki page, describing what I am doing on wine, what my email address is and where one can found my blog.

Most of the useful audacity stuff is in their wiki: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/USB_mic_on_Linux seems like a good place to start.

Gothic 3 - problem with start menu
Greetings, once there was a time when Gothic 3 ran poorly on wine but had no difficulties with displaying the start menu. Now, with a fresh ~/.wine, the trailers behave nicely but when it comes to the start menu, it is not displayed. A significant error line regarding this is: fixme:d3dx:ID3DXFontImpl_DrawTextW (0x394fd18)->(0x39ce150, L"Neues Spiel", -1, 0x32e078, 5, 0xff000000):

question about use MP3s with LAME on Icecast
Hi. Is it possible (legally) to stream MP3s on Icecast that have been encoded with LAME encoder (http://lame.sourceforge.net/license.txt)? So if a composer writes a track, then saves in MP3 with LAME, and wants to distribute with Icecast server, is it legal? Must he get license for MP3 (http://mp3licensing.com/royalty/emd.html) and pay any royalties for MP3 DISTRIBUTING or STREAMING as it stated

Does Wine use past the first 64MB on any video card?
Does Wine use past the first 64MB on any video card? This question applies to all wine versions. I have heard it stated before that wine only uses the first 64MB on your video card either in direct3d or opengl modes. Is this true? If it is true is there a registry entry that can be added to make wine use past the first 64MB on your video card? I apprecaite your help in this matter?

Crysis first level load crash.
Hi I more or less followed the AppDB how to (http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=10107&iTestingId=59999) for Crysis. Copying in the DLLs failed to solve the problem, so I rather installed directX9 from the latest winetricks as suggested in the other Crysis version

How does wine "detect" graphicscard-hardware
Hi, To clarify, when I run World of Warcraft and go into Options to change the graphics settings I get this message on some options: "Unsupported for graphics related reasons". So I was wondering if wine "detects" the graphics hardware and make some kind of registry entry with that information of some sort? Or how does that work? Is it possible to change that information so
