I tried to add a test user <adduser, SMBadduser> and as far as the linux box was concerned, It was fine, but the Win98 box kept giving me "Incorrect Password" Samba's log agreed with "Invalid Username/Password" on several lines. Then Samba and NMB stopped working all together,. I finally "woke" Samba up,. though it start very slowly (about 2 mins) but NMB doesn't budge. Of course it might as well not be there since I can do anything connectivity wise. I went thought the DIAGNOSIS>txt and can Ping both ways, but still SMB and NMB don't want to work. I even tried removing and re installing them (RPM version) to no avail. Imp thinking it has something to do with a connection (or lack thereof) with the netbios ports, but I cant find any evidence to prove or deny this. Any Suggestion as where I can look would be helpful. I even tried several methods of reinstalling, but for some reason my PC wont boot from the CD even though is set up like that in the BIOS.
