Samba and iptables - woes

startup script
I made the samba startup scipt and named it smb,..and placed it in the /etc/rc.d/init.d dir, and then next (exactly like it says) chmod 777 smb chkconfig --add smb chkconfig --level 345 smb on at this point i ran: /etc/rc.d/init.d/smb start I get the following error.. /root]# /etc/rc.d/init.d/smb start Starting SMB services: execvp: No such file or directory [FAILED] Starting NMB services:

Extra sheet after printing a job

Thanks fort he advice John, i read that on the link that nome sent. I filled it out in the smb.conf, and edited the usermap file, then restarted the smb server, and it didn't work *shrugs* it works fine with ftp, so that'll do for now. Thanks anyway. Getting started woes and an archive question
Hi All, I am a newbie and having some trouble getting Asterisk to work. I have checked out zapata zaptel libpri and asterisk (both v1-0_stable and regular--in separate directories). MySQL access
I?ve installed by Webmin a MySQL database in my Suse Linux 8.0. I?ve already created tables, inserted new data, exclude or edited any record on it but in Webmin admin module. How can I access this database from a windows workstation? I?ve tried to establish ODBC connection supplied by MySQL but it seems don?t find any connection. Samba basics
Hi, I know little to nothing about samba so need some advice on a problem I'm having.
