Xen users - Jan 2008 - DLink / skge: Unable to clear error (so ignoring them) on large file transfers to card

Hi all,

I''ve just installed a new Xen setup, ubuntu gutsy (with xen kernel
package, so  I guess that''s a complete replacement). Mostly works
nicely,
i think Xen''s great.

I''ve just hit a snag when trying to transfer a large amount of data to
the
machine however, i''m using a PCI DLink gigabit network card (as the
mobo
onboard is the infamous realtek 8168 chipset which just doesn''t work).

After some of the data has been transferred the machine dies, the only
visible errors are:

skge 0000:03:05.0: unable to clear error (so ignoring them)

Has anyone ever encountered anything similar? A fix or somewhere to start
would be amazing!
