the infamous Error: Device 768 (vbd) could not be connected. Hotplug scripts not working
I am trying various config files to get some kind of guest start and they all seem to get stuck with the error, Error: Device 768 (vbd) could not be connected. Hotplug scripts not working. xen is 3.3.1 and Dom0 is 2.6.29. Here''s an example of one such config that reproduces this error. kernel = "/usr/lib/xen/boot/hvmloader" builder = ''hvm'' device_model =

The Infamous Robocopy Issues...Again
I've been tinkering with this for days now and I can't seem to figure out the problem. I know there were problems < 3.0.8 with robocopy and a few other programs, but even after upgrading, I'm still have a similiar issue with related errors. I'm running Samba 3.0.10 on FreeBSD pointed to an NT4 DC. I'm trying to copy files over to one of it's shares via robocopy from

The Infamous "read_data: read failure for 4 bytes"
Hello all, I'm far from being a samba expert and truth be told I could use some education on networking in general but here it is... I have a stand alone samba server that I use a stunnel to connect to. Reads take place fine from the server but writes *always* fail exactly one time per open session, but if you immediately try to copy the file again it will work (without closing the window),

Hello, I recently installed centos7+Gnome on my macbook air , at first start the wireless adaptor , which is the (infamous?) InstantRails Lost connection to MySQL server
Hiall, I just tried out InstantRails version 1.3a. After a virgin install and filling the fresh mysql db with my app schema, I tried runningthe app with webrick, only to see the infamous "Lost connection to mysql server" for every action. What is it that I''m doing wrong? I also have mysql 5 installed on my machine, but the service is stopped while experimenting with InstantRails, which ships with mysql 4.1.9 Thx for any tips! cheers Martin

[LLVMdev] Debian packaging?
Okey dokey. I'll start setting things up. I think what I'll do is start with 1.1 (or the infamous and soon-to-be-released 1.2 :). Once that works, I'll probably put together a CVS snapshot version. I know LLVM currently supports ia32 and SPARC; is anyone looking at any other architectures? On Sun, 2004-03-07 at 17:30, Chris Lattner wrote: > On Sun, 7 Mar 2004, Al Stone wrote: > &g...
