DLink / skge: Unable to clear error (so ignoring them) on large file transfers to card
...ng to transfer a large amount of data to the machine however, i''m using a PCI DLink gigabit network card (as the mobo onboard is the infamous realtek 8168 chipset which just doesn''t work). After some of the data has been transferred the machine dies, the only visible errors are: skge 0000:03:05.0: unable to clear error (so ignoring them) Has anyone ever encountered anything similar? A fix or somewhere to start would be amazing! Thanks, Henri _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-u...

Dlink DGE-530T on CentOS 4.7
Has anyone had any luck getting this to work? The kernel provide skge, sky2 and sk98lin modules all fail to load. I was able to download the latest version from the syskonnect.de site, and with some hacking/klduging of their install script managed to compile the module in there (a newer version of sk98lin, it seems) which recognised the card... but this isn't r...

core 2 duo motherboards and centos 4
from my googling around, it doesn't look there is a single motherboard that supports core 2 duo and works without patches or tweaks. is that true? the main thing we want is: core 2 duo support 4g of 800mhz (or better) ram sata gig ether with pxe boot we can live without pata or usb for a while. we've tried intel 965 and asus p5b based boards with various levels of ease of install,

Dom0 physical networking/swiotlb/something issue in 3.7-rc1
Hi Konrad, The following patch causes fairly large packet loss when transmitting from dom0 to the physical network, at least with my tg3 hardware, but I assume it can impact anything which uses this interface. I suspect that the issue is that the compound pages allocated in this way are not backed by contiguous mfns and so things fall apart when the driver tries to do DMA. However I

Asterisk 1.4 and ISDN-BRI support
Hi list, Has anyone been able to get ISDN-BRI support to work reliably on Asterisk 1.4? If so, I'd love to know how you did it (hardware, distro, kernel, modules, versions, config files). I've tried to get it to work on a Debian etch system with an HFC-PCI card and the zaptel package (v1.4.7, also from xorcom.com), but with no luck: all three channels that are created when the

[TTM] general protection fault in ttm_tt_swapout, to_virtual looks screwed up
I've been noticing for a while that i've been getting general protection faults in ttm_to_swapout, this time i was printk'ing the virtual addresses. In case it's not obvious, the result of kmap_atomic() is wrong. This is nouveau/linux-2.6 which is somewhere after 2.6.32. I was wondering if anyone has ever seen anything like this? from_virtual ffff88003088b000 to_virtual
