wine users - Feb 2011 - Allow Directx apps to stop the mouse leaving their window

Hi,

When I turn on:
"Allow Directx apps to stop the mouse leaving their window"
in Wine configuration
it does not work?

I have to run Steam games in a window
because in full screen my keyboard does not work.

Any ideas?

No, it doesn't work. It really does absolutely nothing.

will it be fixed at some time in the future? 

or is this just a "useless checkbox", then we could probably create
another checkbox named "hide the useless checkbox" xD

You mean you can't use your keyboard at all? Not in Steam nor outside of
Steam?

What Wine version? What all settings have you changed in winecfg? What distro?
What window manager?
