Hi I did once a Flight Simulator 2004 install on OpenSuse but cannot do that again on my Ubuntu 10.04. I recall mount/umount each of the 4 cds but that's not ok anymore. Any help thanks
Try something like this: (from terminal WITHIN your home directory - do not try this while in CDRom directory) wine start /Unix /path/to/install.exe (or wethever the name is) When it asks you for second CD do this: wine eject or wine eject drive-letter: (if you have multiple cdroms) That should eject the CD, simply change it, mount and installation should continue. NOTE: This will probably NOT work if you try this while in directory where cdrom is mounted, every other dir should do just fine.
Did not work but: For 4 CDs installation, ignore automount in /media and manually u/mount each CD: sudo mount /dev/sr0 /cdrom sudo umount /dev/sr0 /cdrom start not from inside the cdrom dir: wine /cdrom/FS*/Setup.exe

Looks like this has been asked a few times lately. James McKenzie
