wine users - May 2010 - usb support

Does version 1.2 offer better support for usb devices?  In previous versions, I
was unable to get usb support working, even with the libusb-1.0 from Alexander
Morozov, and was wondering if any progress has been made.  Wine would serve all
of my Windows needs if only it had decent usb support- without it, I am forced
to go to VirtualBox and run Windows...

Progress has been made, but usb support won't be ready for wine 1.2.
There's a volunteer working on it, but since the code has been frozen, and
bug 9649 has been denominated for 1.2, even if it is almost ready, it won't
be in wine 1.2.
