We have some QA to do before we put them on DL. You can still grab the 2.2.7a SRPM from cooker and recompile on 9.0. It works fine (though it's not an official update). I am using Slackware 8.1 and just compiled samba 2.2.7a with only smbmount added to the configure script. First of two issues: When trying to access swat I get 401 Bad Authorization username or password incorrectSwat worked in 2.2.7 so I don't know what happened here.... Second issue: When creating a folder on the samba share from W2K or NT4 I get a windows pop up alert stating "You may not be able to access files created in the folder \\sambaserver\share. Do you want to continue? YES/NO Otherwise everything works great, I am just sick of the Create Folder warning..... Hi,
i have a "short" question to you, i hope you can help me.
I try to install samba 2.2.7a on an AIX 5.1 and get some error messages.
When i begin to execute "./configure" i get the message:
checking configure summar ... ERROR: No licking available. Running
Samba would be unsave
configure: error: summary failure. Aborting config
I hope you can help me.
