R help - Mar 2008 - Searching for regression technique for proportional area

I'm searching for a statistical regression technique to be applied to data
relating to the proportion of area.
Specifically the data i'm trying to analyse relates to how much fuel was
burnt in response to fire and recorded as a percentage consumed.
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
