Hi all, I''m testing a windows 2003r2 installation on Centos 5 so i''im wondering about the reliability of Windows PV drivers on a domU running on the GPL "flavor" of XEN. - which are the most stable PV drivers GPL''ed ones or XenSource ones? - is safe running the XenSource ones on a GPL XEN machine or vice-versa? thanks, -- Ruggero Tonelli http://www.valtellinux.it GPG Key-id: 0x96998647 _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

This is the downside of them, they can only be used if you''re a paid customer of Xensource.> > > thanks, > > -- > Ruggero Tonelli > http://www.valtellinux.it > GPG Key-id: 0x96998647 > > _______________________________________________ > Xen-users mailing list > Xen-users@lists.xensource.com > http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users >Emre Erenoglu erenoglu@gmail.com _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

Well, you can try and let us know, but as far as I know, the drivers are compiled such that they don''t run on GPL XEN. So if you don''t have the actual installed commerical Xen software then whatever that daemon is or needs will not be there and the drivers will not activiate.
