We have quite a few different Dell PowerEdge models running 24x7 in the test lab, and don''t see any problems. (I know that we have PE1850/2650/2850 and some 4 socket boxes too). On the 2650''s, the aacraid controller driver just hangs up while loading if I don''t specify noapic. For the 1550''s, I''m booting from fibre channel, and the qla2200 driver keeps issuing EIP resets and never sees the drives if I don''t specify noapic. I''ve got a 750 sitting at the office with a SATA raid controller (still uses the aacraid driver) that I could also try things out on, to get a different chipset and stuff. Any troubleshooting you''d like me to do? I''ve got enough capacity that I can easily migrate machines around and test whatever you''d like out. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ | nate carlson | natecars@natecarlson.com | http://www.natecarlson.com | | depriving some poor village of its idiot since 1981 | ------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
