Hi, I am trying to install a driver for my xbox 360 controller with Wine, but it won't install as I don't have SP1 or SP2 for XP installed. How, if it can be done, do I install or change my wine to have SP1 or SP2 installed. I am not a coder or a programmer, so if it can be done, I'd like it as simple as possible, I know this might not be the case, but if needs be, I can follow instructions well. Many thanks, Rooger

None of those things will work under Wine. (By the way, if a program doesn't think SP2 is installed, it's a bug. File one at http://bugs.winehq.org .) Your question is moot because even if you could install the drivers, they won't work at all under Wine. Right now, you have to install a driver for the host OS, whatever that might be. Remember, Google is your friend. Chip

Thanks for the replies fellas, I have looked for a Linux driver and it's all for Ubuntu none for Fedora Core 15 lol and as I said, I am not a coder or programmer so I don't understand what it wants me to do and even if it will work in FC15. Thanks for the help though :o) Rooger
