I think for under 200 bucks you have to go with the AMD Phenom II x6... but that's my opinion.

Here's a list of some AMD CPU (http://hubpages.com/hub/Best-AMD-CPU) and some AM3 Motherboards (http://hubpages.com/hub/Best-AM3-Motherboards) but personally I think you should probably wait until the Q 3 Bulldozer release (possibly late Q2).
