wine users - Aug 2010 - Spore Won't start

I'm running linux mint 9 and the latest version of wine. Whenever I try to
run spore, it says "Starting Spore tm" and then after a minute it goes
away and nothing happens. I'm new to linux and I don't know how to
program things like in the terminal
