wine users - Aug 2010 - I'm having some trouble installing .Net Framework 2.0

I'm on OpenSUSE 11.3, 64 bit, and installed wine through the Software
Manager (wine, wine-32bit, and wine-gecko)

I get the following error:

"This product is not supported on 64 bit operating systems. Setup will now
exit"

It does this even when I use winetricks

Install 64 bit .NET if you're using 64 bit Wine (I don't think that can
be done with winetricks), or uninstall 64 bit Wine and stick to 32 bit.

How would I run wine with "WINARCH=win32"?

I looked in a bunch of files in the .wine directory, and user.reg has
#arch=win64 at the top.  Changing that to 32 doesn't seem to do anything
