Hi. I am really annoyed at this program. I have the NEWEST version of wine and it won't let me install. Anybody know how to get this fix and how to get 0.9x?

This forum is for plain Wine. As to how to get such an old version of Wine, if you're using a distro that's equally old, you might find pre-1.0 Wine packages archived somewhere. If not, you'll have to build it yourself, and it might not build at all on a newer distro. If you really need IE, I'd recommend using winetricks to install it, as John suggested.

Some sites actually tell you to upgrade to at least IE 7. James McKenzie
