wine users - Sep 2008 - Internet download manager finds no internet connection

Hi this is Ashik. Today i installed wine in my kubuntu 8.04 for the first time.
I need to use internet download manager(idm). After installation it cannot get
any internet connection. I am using cdma modem to use internet. Can any one
please help me to configure idm correctly ?

Could yp post the console output? You can get it by running the program with
wine PROGRAM.exe &> ~/wine-output
(substitute PROGRAM with the actual filename, and get the contents from 
wine-output in your home folder)
