I use the included Notepad a lot. WINE used to save where I had re-sized and placed it, but now it does not. How do I save my re-size? Thank you.

Does anybody know of a fix for missing font/text problems with Wine? I've read of many people having the problem, but no cure other than the suggestion of packaging problems and that one should compile from source with FontForge support. I have compiled from source with FontForge support but the problem is still here. I am using Fedora Core 5 on x86. You can see the problem here:

I am running Wine 0.9.18 on Ubuntu 6.06. I was able to get Diablo II running very easily, but there are two rather small problems that are bugging me. The first is that the sound is delayed about a second from the events that trigger them. I am actually having this problem outside of Diablo. I am using the ALSA drivers. I have Ubuntu 8.10 and I downloaded Wine and installed it. Everything seems to work (installation works), but when I try to run the game that I installed, I hear the sound, but I don't see video, and instead I see a blank screen with big white text in the center that says "Cannot Display This Video Mode" Does anybody know what this is? How do I fix this?

Hello. I have succeeded in getting Fallout Tactics and Age Of Empire II to start multiplayer games. To do so, I had to override dpnhpast for dplaysvr.exe. I wanted to play multiplayer games with a friend of mine, but on his machine wine doesn't even load dplaysvr.exe, so he cannot join multiplayer games. How can he enable dplaysvr.exe?
