What happened to this document? Was it just left dying in the IETF system?

dovecot 1.2.11 + virtual plugin + deliver
Hello List and Timo,
I configured the virtual mailboxes which are really nice.
To create the virtual-folder, I made a postlogin-script as described in
the wiki.
However, as my mail is delivered by dovecot's deliver ... I'm getting
errors for people not yet logged in...

about variables
Hi
In http://wiki.dovecot.org/Variables I found:
%s service imap, pop3, smtp, deliver
and that can be use in userdb and SQL query string.
How exactly can I use %s in the query string if I want for ex to disable
a service (just one service - ex pop3) for a specific user.

Refresh Script...
Not to many days ago, somebody posted a "refresh" script that I believe
allowed you to refresh samba without dropping currently connected users. If
this is correct, could someone repost please? I seem to have misplaced my
copy and now need it fairly bad.
Thanks,

ActiveRecord and tiny_tds
Hi,
I''m having some issues trying to run .find_by_sql against a Win MSSQL 2008
server. When I use the tiny_tds gem the query works without any issues.

gem ''tiny_tds'', ''= 0.6.2''
require ''tiny_tds''
gem ''activerecord'', ''= 3.2.12''

C&C3 won't start
Hello!
I'm trying to run C&C3 Tiberium Wars on my Fedora11 x86_64 using Wine 1.1.23
In the AppDB (http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=7440), it's listed as Silver so I though I would give this game a try. Specially as the note says it works with unpatched Wine 1.1.23.
I successfully installed the game and also patched (the game) to 1.9
But once I try to

I''m trying to query puppetdb for a list of hosts maching a certain regex
(on hostname) and only returns 2 facts (ipaddress and hostname)
I''m trying to follow:
http://docs.puppetlabs.com/puppetdb/latest/api/query/tutorial.html
and I''m not even quite sure, wether or not, I should use a facts or a

I get some of the queries to return just

Carrying non-audio data in an Ogg/Vorbis I stream
Hello,
I would like to "piggy-back" other data in an Ogg/Vorbis I physical stream
(i.e. file) in a manner that does not conflict with specifications and
existing decoders/players/editors etc.
As far as I can see, I have some possible choices:
1 - Chaining a logical bistream at the end. If this is the way to go, two
questions arise to begin with:
q1a - How to identify this stream in a

Floor type 0 and residues type 0 and 1
Hi,
it seems to me as if all vorbis-files only contain floors of type
1 and residues of type 2. Is it possible to "force" the encoder to
somehow create a vorbis-file with the other floor and residue types?

EVERYONE USING DOVECOT PLEASE SIGN: Thanks, Administrators of Dovecot!
With the release of dovecot 2.0, the community of the Dovecot mailling
list, and us at Shelton Computers, would sincerely like to thank the
developers of Dovecot. For, if it were not for you, we would be stuck
with Courier and would not have the impressive features of Sieve, as
opposed to the unmanageable scripts, by end users, of maildrop.

i've seen various references to this message in the list archive, but
none which really match my scenario.
i'm running 0.9.28 on ubuntu edgy. of course, i'm new at wine --
so this could be user error.
i'm trying to install TaxCut 2006, from the CDROM:

NMBD Not Starting
I moved an entire RH 6.2 server from one CPU to a new one using a tape
backup/restore. Everything from the old server is working on the new server,
but when SysV starts up smb, the nmbd daemon (2.0.6) exits with an error:
create_subnets: No local interfaces!
eth0 has already started according to the logs and console. Any ideas?
Thanks.

application/ogg is a proposed Internet standard.
The IETF passed the application/ogg MIME type some days ago. I couldn't
bring you the news earlier because of the MS SQL worm that has been
wreaking havoc all over my local networks.
The IETF wants some clarifications in Silivias draft for the Ogg stream
format, but apart from that I think it will also be passed soon.
The RFC and IANA registration of this mimetype will probably be published

replacing mkdir -p
Puppet right now requires every element of a path to have an individual
file definition. This makes it had to take an arbitrary path as a
parameter. You are forced to require your client to make the entire path
structure for you or instead you use an exec resource and call mkdir -p.
Using an exec resource does not generate an File resources so autorequire
does not work.

Specification change requests
Hi,
as Conrad suggested, I've made a complete list of all points in the
specification, which I beleive are errors, or where the explanation
is unclear, contains unneccessary steps and so on.
I hope someone has time to look through the points and if and when
accepting or rejecting them be so very kind and inform me about it.
I will also once again try to work through the residue

high frequencies response
Hi there
In the past, i have used lame to encode high quality mp3-files
(vbr 1, bitrate ~ 192kbit). I tend to switch to ogg with Quality 4
or 5, but i noticed, that many ogg-files tend to produce too much
high frequencies response. In many cases, this is very noticeable.
For my opinion, i cannot accept this worse frequence reponse.
I have used latest version of ogg (OggEnc v1.0, precompiled
