Thanks ruelle I have Tried to follow procedure as mentioned in following>> > http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12570#c40 [Wink]but the installer crashes in between while configuring install so I gave up and posted a query in forum.> > I'm using 2004 (ubuntu 8.04 and wine 1.1.2) cause 2008 it's not suitable for work now.. > > BTW I saw a lot of new bugs related to autocad: http://bugs.winehq.org/buglist.cgi?quicksearch=AUTOCAD.. >yes I went through most of them to see if there is any clue, unfortunately not found any. For me I use very occasionally Autocad and Sketchup and I tried them for few (almost 15 to 20) friends who showed willingness to shift to Linux if ACAD and GSU works on it Thanks and Best Regards R.
