It may already be fixed by the revision r122607. I also volunteer to fix any issues with Sparc backend. Thanks, Venkatraman

[LLVMdev] LLVM ARM for shipped products?
...ded by Code Sourcery and wait till a later time. I have the following questions in this regard: 1. Can some one tell me if LLVM ARM is being used by anyone to compile any shipped products? If so, a) how are you getting by despite the apparent bugs that exist ( http://llvm.org/bugs/buglist.cgi?quicksearch=ARM)? b) do you build LLVM natively on your ARM platform or do you build it as a cross compiler? 2. I have heard "rumors" that Apple uses LLVM to compile code shipped on iPhone. Is that correct? If so, can someone tell me whether they use the sources available in the svn tree or do...

Samba bugzilla search terms not functional
Hello I tried to search for a term "deadlink" in Samba bugzilla system at https://bugzilla.samba.org/ "Entere a bug# or some search terms" I consider the word "deadlink" to be a search term. Also the [Help] states that "Bugzilla QuickSearch. Type in one or more words (or word fragments) to search for". The string "deadlink" is certainly a word. However after pressing 'show', I got to URL https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=deadlink Whis stated in a big red box: "The bug number is invalid. If you are...

Also, I never actually had problems like this with samba 3. Has anyone else seen this? Is there a wa...

Windows 10 share failing
I think its related to https://lists.samba.org/archive/samba/2016-September/202918.html I am not very competent at Bugzilla. I scanned the list on https://bugzilla.samba.org/buglist.cgi?quicksearch=windows%2010 and I couldn't find one I could track for this problem to be fixed. I filed an issue upon https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/50847 since I use Arch. I will try and provide a tcpdump if no one else has done it during the weekend. Otherwise, please let me know how to track the regre...

QuickBooks Pro 99 Installer Hangs At Registering DLL's
When running the installer, it complains about not being able to communicate with windows. Ignoring the warning, installs until registering dll's, at which point it hangs. Anyone run into this problem with this software or any other software and found a way to work around it? Using Wine Version 1.0 on latest Kubuntu release.

d3dx9_36 : How to handle bug reporting
...h a missing function (eg. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=24530), but most of the time I get a humongous log with a load of stubbed functions which is most likely unpractical for devs. There is also an extensive list of bugs related to this particular dll : http://bugs.winehq.org/buglist.cgi?quicksearch=d3dx9_36 I was wondering if a dev or an experienced user could recommend me a method for bug reporting about this dll which is practical for devs, in particular when I test apps which yield a humongous log. I technically can fill a bunch of reports like this one : http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.c...

1.4rc2: delayed redraw of 3d app
Since 1.4rc2, Google SketchUp does not immediately redraw the 3d drawing area, but only after the view has been invalidated another time. That means SketchUp starts with black screen until you force it to update the view (by moving, resizing the window or orbiting or panning the view). This is also noticeable when you click, double-click or triple-click an object in order to select it: The object

Centos6 iptables startup vs. restart?
What is different about the initial startup of iptables than 'service iptables restart' (and different from C5)? I want to use iptables port redirection to send port 80 to 8080 so a java web service doesn't have to start as root. On C5 it worked to give the iptables commmands, then 'iptables save', and from then on it would automatically work when iptables started after a

Some news for AutoCAD users
Well, finally some news that make Autocad almost perfect on wine. Tested on 2005 and 2008. To install AutoCAD, just follow the howto on appdb. Here the patchsets : 1) Multiline text editor crash : go to bug 14827 page (http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14827) download and apply the patch to wine tree and rebuild/install it. Please don't ask how to do it.... it's on many places in
