Hi! How can I translate wine console messages like this one: "Append output to /home/user/.wine/wine.log... Please gzip it before send." (e.g. is there a gettext .pot file with translatable messages?) The problem is that GNU/Linux is deployed in Russian schools and teachers don't know a single word in English.
hi there! i'd also like to help out with translation work (german, spanish, italian, french - no russian). is there already any such project? the menus in GNOME appear in english, but it would be nice to have them localized. luckily, the wine apps like notepad, regedit and the wine setup use my system locale without any problems. :) regards /pablo -- Pablo Hoertner http://redtux.org/ -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... The translation of wine must be done in the windows style. You need to add / update the resource files (*.rc) for the specific program or dll and recompile wine to test your translation.
