Coeficientes GLM binomial
Un ejemplo con un modelo más simple: He especificado este modelo: >formula(m2.pile) ger ~ tem + pot + time Si hago predict me da: >predict(m2.pile,newdata=data.frame(tem=25,pot=0,time=3),type="response") 0.08243262 Extraigo los coeficientes: > coef(m2.pile) (Intercept) tem pot time -1.89521331 -0.02303313 4.74499714 0.02043222 Ahora calculo la probabilidad...

Coeficientes GLM binomial
Estimad en s errer en s He hecho este modelo glm m1.pile<-glm(ger~tem+pot+time+I(tem^2)+I(tem^2):pot ,family="binomial" ,data=long.PILE ) Que nos da la probabilidad de germinación de una semilla en función de tem (Temperatura), pot (Humedad del suelo) y time (Tiempo que la semilla pasa en esas condiciones). Ahora quiero, p...

cisco dial-peer voip
I have 2610 XM with 1 Fastethernet and VIC2-2BRI. Dialin and dialout over pots is ok. Also inbound pots calls get redirected to Asterisk y.y.y.y So far so good. But I want to setup VOIP sessions with local carrier. I added dial-peer 40 for this. Session target x.x.x.x But calls will always get routed to the pstn peers 50 and 60. Peer x.x.x.x is never contacted or tried....

tapply & hist
I'm learning how to use tapply. Now I'm having a go at the following code in which dati contains almost 600 lines, Pot - numeric - are the capacities of power plants and SGruppo - text - the corresponding six technologies ("CCC", "CIC","TGC", "CSC","CPC", "TE"). ..................................................... dati=sqlQuery(canale,"select...

[RFC] Pagerando: Page-granularity code randomization
...re a library for pagerando, the compiler must first allocate functions into page-aligned bins corresponding to segments in the final ELF file. Since these bins will be independently positioned, the compiler must redirect all inter-bin references through an indirection table – the Page Offset Table (POT) – which stores the virtual address of each bin in the library. Indices of POT entries and bin offsets are statically determined at link time so code will not require any dynamic relocations to reference functions in another bin or globals outside of bins. We reserve a register in pagerando-compati...

[OT] Centrex Question
I haven't dealt with Centrex for a long time, and one of my customers is being courted heavily by a Sprint salesperson. Am I not correct in assuming that each "line" of Centrex corresponds to an "extension" in the PBX world? This site has 2 POTS lines and 5 extensions, and they told me that for the same thing they're paying right now (~$40/POTS line) they will be getting two Centrex "lines" that will do the same thing. The way I understood it, each of those two Centrex lines is an extension. In general, would they still...

How to use Sipura SPA3k POTS line to dial Asterisk SIP phones?
My SIP phones can dial out through Sipura SPA3k to POTS for local and 911 calls _but_ incoming POTS calls are being swallowup somehow. Am I on the right track with the code snippit below? sip.conf: --------- In sip.conf the following code is _supposed_ to ring the SIP phones when a POTS line call comes in through Sipuara to Asterisk. [spa3k-pstn-i...

"ring splash"
Something new to me. Recently installed a 1.4.30 box for a small office with four POTS lines in a hunt (Digium TDM410P). Had the telco put a "call forward" option on the main line of the hunt. They dial a feature code from their desk phones (Polycom IP450) that results in forwarding the main number to our VoIP service. This is all to let them "try out" our...

2 POTS to
Hi all, Im trying to build an small home system. I have 2 pots lines, and i need to make 8 extensions and be able to use my old analog phones. What would you recommend to use as the 8 FXS switch? I saw some equipment from quintum, they have a Tenor AS that offer 4 FXS ports. But i don't know if it is the best solution. Does anyone have a better solution...

OT: PRI costs in US
...solution: decently fast for a dial-up-type connection, yet still faily affordable. While I was at it, I decided to look at a couple of more creative telephone service options to possibly improve their service or lower costs at the same time. These customers range from having just a couple of POTS lines without a key system up to as many as 18 POTS lines into systems such as AT&T Merlin or Nortel Norstar systems. My first thought on the higher end was a PRI line. However, the cost seems *very* prohibitive. The average cost for a PRI line was $550/month, just for "dial tone&q...

analysing a three level reponse
Hello, I am struggling to figure out how to analyse a dataset I have inherited (please note this was conducted some time ago, so the data is as it is, and I know it isn't perfect!). A brief description of the experiment follows: Pots of grass were grown in 1l pots of standad potting medium for 1 month with a regular light and watering regime. At this point they were randomly given 1l of one of 4 different pesticides at one of 4 different concentrations (100%, 75%, 50% or 25% in water). There were 20 pots of grass for each pest...

Provisioning CO lines
...is a NEWBIE question, so all you experienced types that are tired of stupid questions can move on... I've pretty much given up trying to do my entire phone system over IP (including local service), so I have to select and provision my local CO lines. I need about 10-12 lines which can be POTS lines, of course. But, I thought, why not get something digital and expandable like a DS1, PRI, T1 or whatever they call it with 23 or 24 channels of 64 kbps voice. It seems like it would be simpler for me to deal with this (and better quality) and it *should* be simpler for the phone compan...
