oggdropXPd is certainly available as a 1.0.1 compile. You can d/l it from the OggVorbis page at: http://rarewares.hydrogenaudio.org/ogg.html John ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Balazic" <david.balazic@hermes.si> To: <vorbis@xiph.org> Sent: Wednesday, November 26, 2003 10:07 AM Subject: [vorbis] Updated OggDrop ? <p>> Are the ogg/vorbis programs updated to v1.0.1 ?> OggDrop for example ? > > Regards, > David > ----------------------------------------------------------------------------> ----------- > David Balazic mailto:david.balazic@hermes.si > HERMES Softlab http://www.hermes-softlab.com > Zolajeva 30 Phone: +386 2 450 8851 > SI-2000 Maribor > Slovenija > ----------------------------------------------------------------------------> ----------- > "Be excellent to each other." - > Bill S. [ please cc me or replies as I am not subscribed to vorbis list ] Hi John ! Here are some bug reports for OggDropXP 1.7.4-1.0.1 : - Encoding Options dialog - it does not seem possible to select a non-integer quality value, is that on purpose ? IIRC, other tools allow real values, but maybe I'm wrong :-) - if I set the quality slider somewhere in the middle, for example "5" and then press the CURSOR_LEFT key, the slider goes left, but if I press CURSOR_RIGHT, it does not move. Same thing if I click with the mouse on the left/right arrows - Decoding Options dialog - select "Use VorbisGain", click "Accept", select again "Decoding Options" : the "Use VorbisGain" option is not selected any more - select "Use VorbisGain" , none of the radio buttons "Track Gain"/"Album Gain" is selected The web page says : (WITH Lossless decoding support) What lossless decoding is that ?
