>From my own tests, at least a Pentium 160 mhz with MMX capability, and atleast 32 mb ram. Older computers would choke the sound constantly. It also depends of the Operating System optimization and the player. For these tests, I tried Windows 98 and Winamp. One of these days I should try doing some tests with Puppy Linux on older systems, but til then, that's all I know. -Ivo On 7/13/06, David Balazic <david.balazic@hermes.si> wrote:> > Hi! > > I can't find this info anywhere. > > What is the minimum CPU requirement for Vorbis playback ? > > Regards, > David > > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > http://noepatents.eu.org/ Innovation, not litigation ! > --- > David Balazic mailto:david.balazic@hermes.si > HERMES Softlab http://www.hermes-softlab.com > Zagrebska cesta 104 Phone: +386 2 450 8846 > SI-2000 Maribor > Slovenija > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > "Be excellent to each other." - > Bill S.
