I have installed and configured a Digium E100P on my Asterisk PBX and I have connected this to an 8 port E1 VoIP gateway on a Cisco 6509. There is also an external E1 link from our Telco plugged into one of the other ports on this gateway and this gateway is in turn registered with a Cisco CallManager

Hi, I'm having trouble configuring and E1 link , I know the E1 is a PRI and the switchtype is 5ess. The problem is that everytime I try to dial I got and error saying that it was unable to open the zap channel . Devices are created in the /dev/zap directory and I can open them with a cat /dev/zap/1. I can also see the channels in /proc/zaptel/1. Thanks in advance [zaptel.conf]

All I want to do is make a single share with read only access for everybody, no matter the user people are using, in other words, they don't need to have the user on the server side. We are not having any luck with the E100p card here in Australia, it will work with a crossover cable to another device but will not talk to our Telco Telstra who probably have a weird implementation of an E1.
