I am looking for a large number (probably about 100 or so) low-cost phones that I can hang on the wall. I need the phones to use PoE. Do the Uniden phones support wall-mounting? These phones are not going to be high-usage; they simply need to be there in case of an emergency. The piece of plastic is built in to the IP600. Use a screwdriver or something similar and push the little piece of plastic out from the top inside the cradle. Hello, I have a polycom ip600 and eyebeam. When I call from polycom to eyeBeam, everything, including audio works. When I call the other side (from eyeBeam to polycom), I get no audio. Hi all, I have a Polycom Soundpoint IP 600 that looks like it is fried. It either has a bad or corrupt bootrom (I'm guessing). It never gets to the prompt that asks if I want to enter the setup configuration or continue booting. The phone can access the FTP server, and downloads the IP500/600 configuration files, but claims that the sip.ld file is larger than its file system. Hello list: I have a very odd problem. Seemingly randomly, my Polycom IP600 phones will ring without a call being placed to it. That is to say, a random phone will ring. Nothing shows up under Caller ID. Even the buttons that light up to show an incoming call do not light up. If you pick up the handset, you can hear the phone ring through the speaker. Hi, I'm testing a Polycom IP600. With firmware version 1.1 the phone reboots at any time. With firmware version 1.2, the first reboot was an endless reboot. Then I moved the phone to another lan port, then it worked fine. Then I installed again in the initial lan port and the phone works well. However after some time of inactivity (1 hour?), the IP600 stops to send and receive calls.

Hello, I have configured my polycom ip600 and ip500. The phone works well. But the clock is wrong and flashes the whole time. Drives me nuts! I have set the time offset on the DHCP / boot server. 36000 (I'm in Australia!) It doesn't seem to help... Mike

I have been testing with Polycom IP600 phones for a month or so. I found out that there are frequent problems with the handset. The problem is I can hear the other end but the other end cannot hear me. I have already downloaded the latest bootROM 3.1.3 and sip 2.1.2 However, there are no problems with the headset or speaker phone. Has anyone encountered such problems before? Thanks.
