LinNeighborhood.
Works with all desktops and window managers; very easy to use, and just
plain sweet.

Sorry. I dod not read your request carefully.

In KDE if libsmbclient.so is installed you should be able to browse your
network neighborhood by entering the URL: smb://workgroup

I use LinNeighborhood works pretty well for me you have to set proper 
preferences before you actually start using it.

Also there are ohter smb browsers like gnomba, xsmbbrowser but I ve never 
used them.
