samba - Sep 2002 - XP Pro will not join domain

Have done everything according to samba PDC howto and still cannot join
the domain.  Anyone with XP Pro care to share their information on how
to get the XP Pro workstation to join.  I have Win98 and W2K to join
okay.  Also how do I get he login script to run?

I had to go into the Policy Editor, local policies, then manually change
the sign&seal setting.
