I'm trying to get a XP Pro computer to join my Samba 2.2.2 controlled domain. I get an error something can't find the network? With this exact configuration I can add Win2K computers no problem. I have the add user script in my smb.conf file and I have also tried manually adding the computer to /etc/passwd using useradd. Is there something I'm missing for XP? Thanks.

Have done everything according to samba PDC howto and still cannot join the domain. Anyone with XP Pro care to share their information on how to get the XP Pro workstation to join. I finally found the solution that many people faced about joining a samba 2.2.x domain with XP or 2000 I've recently upgraded a Win98SE to WinXP, and attempt to join this to the Samba Domain (of ver 2.2.2), which already have 2 Win2000 as member.
