Hi Andrew,
1. edit /etc/inetd.conf as root; uncomment the line
swat stream tcp nowait.400 root /usr/sbin/swat swat
2. Type /etc/init.d/inetd reload
If this does not help,make sure the file /us/sbin/swat exists,but it has
to be,since YOu installed samba :)
