Files to backup
Hi ppl, I have a question more then problem, if I'm going to reinstall my Linux box from scratch, what do I have to backup for the Samba to work, beside the smb.conf & smbpasswd? Are those files enough to save the configuration? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. "Only Dead Fish Go With The Flow"

syncing unix passwords
I give up. I had this working and now it isn't and I don't know why. I was able to sync unix password using smbpasswd but now it won't work. When I run smbpasswd it changes the samba password but acts like it doesn't even see the parameters in the smb.conf to change the unix password. Here is a sample changing session: as400:# ./smbpasswd xxxxxx New SMB password: Retype new

User Migration question
Hello, I would like to migrate my user-accounts from a Samba 2 to a Samba 3 setup. Old Setup: Samba 2 with PAM support. PAM uses LDAP to store PosixAccounts New Setup: Samba 3 with "native" LDAP. PosixAccounts are already migrated to my new LDAP server. I tried pdbedit with my old smbpasswd file: ---snip--- # pdbedit -i smbpasswd:./smbpasswd build_sam_account: smbpasswd database

Klicking sounds in background
Hello, I have an IVR with Intel HMP SIP stack, which is a peer behind my Asterisk box (Asterisk 1.0.7, Digium PRI). When dialing in via PSTN, there are klicking sounds in the background, which do not appear, when dialing in via SIP (using Asterisk as pbx). The issue does not seem to be an alaw/?law problem. I tried trunking two Asterisk boxes via IAX and then call via two asterisks, but the

wordcloud y tabla de palabras
Buenas noches grupo. Saludos cordiales.

[LLVMdev] problem using scc_iterator on CallGraph
I am working on a transform that uses an scc_iterator on a program's CallGraph. However, I am running into a problem in which not all callees are being processed before callers, leading me to believe there might be a bug. In particular, this is happening in a case where a callee is a function pointer. I ran bugpoint and have included the bugpoint-reduced-simplified.ll below. If

wordcloud y tabla de palabras [Avanzando]
Buenas tardes grupo.

[LLVMdev] problem using scc_iterator on CallGraph
I printed the call graph as you suggested. The bugpoint bytecode that I sent below prints the following call graph: Indirect call node / | | \ / | | \ V | V V execute | prog_char clear_func | | V V push_constant | V Node0x8d7b370 i.e., Indirect call node -> execute

Bug#655303: xcp-xapi: document network configuration in README.Debian
Package: xcp-xapi Version: 1.3-15 Severity: normal By default, xapi listens on the loopback interface. To make it available over the network, its inventory needs to be updated with the bridged interface details. For example, if xenbr0 is the bridged interface, it needs to be set it: lnx200-39:~# cat /etc/xcp/inventory BUILD_NUMBER='0' CURRENT_INTERFACES='xenbr0'

Concurrent scanning of same disk
Greetings, I am suffering of several weird errors which show randomly and make me suspect some concurrency issue. Libguestfs version is 1.28.1, linux kernel 3.16, libvirt 1.2.9 and qemu 2.1. What I'm trying to do is comparing the disk state at two different point of a guest execution. Disk snapshots are taken through libvirt in different moments (I am aware of caching issue), from such

Problem with domain membership
Hello, I have a Samba 3.0.11/LDAP-Backend PDC configured and I am able to join all kinds of machines quite well. However my Samba 2.2.12 Linux Fileserver is just able to join the domain: ---snip--- [573]root@hal/opt/samba> smbpasswd -j <Domainname> -r <PDC Name> -U Administrator Password: Joined domain <Domainname> ---snip--- When I now try to access my Fileserver with a

sharing /etc/passwd
How 'bout PAM? /usr/ports/security/pam_ldap. If you have machines that can't do PAM, perhaps NIS is the way to go (assuming, of course, you're behind a firewall). You can store login information in LDAP like you want, then use a home-grown script to extract the information to a NIS map. Or, if you have a Solaris 8 machine lying around, you can cut out the middle step and use

Relative Newbie with a SIP/NAT issue
Hello, Please forgive me if this has been addressed previously. I have been searching the archives and have not come across what I thought was a solution. My * server is behind a DSL router using a NAT IP address of 10.0.0.9. A colleague running XP and X-Lite can register with * from his home, specifying my public IP as the SIP proxy in X-Lite (however this is only true if I have the NAT flag
