Greetings, all: I'm having trouble working out a printing problem between my Samba box, and my Windows 2000 client. Here's the background: Network: Home network with a Slackware 8 box running Samba, 1 Windows 2000 client, 1 Windows 98 client, and a LEAF Project firewall providing Internet access. The Samba server should only be available to local clients. Systems: Slackware box: Running Samba 2.2.4; uses BSD style printing; IP=192.168.1.10 (static), netbios name = SAMBAFPS; default print queue = lp, HP LaserJet 6P connected to lp0. Windows 2000 box: Updated to ServicePack 3, netbios name = DualPII, IP=192.168.1.2 (static), driver for HP LaserJet 6P installed locally, pointing to lp on SAMBAFPS Windows 98 box: It doesn't even get past authentication - I'm upgrading it to 2000 soon, so this box is a non-issue. The Problem: When I try to print from the Win2K box to the Samba server, I get the following error (from within Notepad): "A StartDocFinder call was not issued." Nothing prints, and there are no files in the queue directory. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
