Can you reproduce this at will ? Can you get a
debug level 10 log of the problem please.
This looks like a problem I have seen where a client
seems to keep appending the same name to a file until
the length goes over the path length of 1024 within
Samba. I'd like to track down what is causing the client
to do this.
