You need to double backslashes: see the rw-FAQ. You also need to use
proper quotes not strange Microsoft `smart quotes', as in the next one.

That's wrong: you do not want the package zip files there.

Why not use the defaults?
install.packages("fdim", .Library)
or use the Packages menu.
