Hi there, I've just downloaded R 1.1.0 for Windows 98. I don't know if some weird problem occurred in the installation or it is some bug in the GUI version, but somehow the "up-arrow" key does not work! In other words, if I type some commands, I cannot use the up-arrow key to browse the previous commands typed (can do this in the previous R version)! There is very little we can do to help unless this is a common problem and we can find the pattern. All I can suggest is that you try compiling from source and do some debugging on your own machine. -- Brian D. Could you tell us which file causes the problem? That could help other people too.
