OK, I have tried to fix all bugs in the CRAN PACKAGE file, the
DESCRIPTIONs of the following packages have been fixed:
NISTnls
coda
mclust
rpart
splines
survival4
Note that I can't do easily something on old packages installed on
your system because they simply contain no version information (but
after one manual update this should be gone). Many users have private
packages without a formal DESCRIPTION file and IMO this is OK.
Regarding core packages, i.e., packages that come with the R sources:
I will introduce some check of the version of the running R process
against CRAN and print some message accordingly.
