CentOS - Jul 2004 - NVIDIA display card update

Hey,

There have been still more NVIDIA card experiments,
with some new results.  If you are still hving an
issue with an NVIDIA card, you might want to take a
look at the updated FAQ under Installation.

The NForce2 motherboard drivers are installed in kernel-unsupported, but
before you use the options you published in the FAQ (nvidia as the
display driver, and the Option"NvAGP" "1"), you also have to
install the
actual NVIDIA video card drivers from the Nvidia website:

http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_display_archive.html

The newest IA32 driver is Version: 1.0-6106

So after you install kernel-unsupported, but before you edit the
/etc/X11/XF86Config file you need to install the NVIDIA graphics driver.
