R help - Dec 2003 - rcmd check question.

Hi!

Can anyone tell what may causes the following errors?
They printed during a
>rcmd check packagename


* checking S3 generic/method consistency ... WARNING
Error in .tryQuietly({ : Error in file(file, "r") : unable to open
connection
Execution halted
* checking for replacement functions with final arg not named 'value'

In the directory where you issue this command, does "dir" list 
"packagename" as one of the directories?  And is it set up according
to
the specification in "Writing R Extensions"?  That is, subdirectories 
"R", "man", ... ?

That's the simplest thing I could think of that would cause this.
