samba - Feb 2014 - Config settings

Hi,

Where can i find up to date samba4 related smb.conf settings?

Is this for samba4 too:

Those are Samba 3 settings. As far as I can see, not much has changed in
these settings, so I guess most of them still apply.
I also found this: http://www.sloop.net/smb.conf.html
So I guess 'man smb.conf' is the way to go :)
Speaking of Samba 4 documentation, I can see
http://www.samba.org/samba/docs/man/Samba4-HOWTO/ is a work in progress.
Are there, other than thes howto pages, any interesting books in the
making, because for me it seems Samba 4 is the next best thing since sliced
bread, but documentation is very scarce :)

NO!

The contents inside 'samba/docs/using_samba' are so seriously outdated, 
that many is even is wrong for Samba 3.

For samba4 use the wiki https://wiki.samba.org/ for very up-to-date 
info, and the man pages https://www.samba.org/samba/docs/man/manpages 
for hopefully not too old info, but stay away from that book. It's a 
waste of time trying to make options work, that are not supported any more.
