Help with time in R
Hi, I have a problem with the time formatting in R. I have entered time in the format "MM:SS.xyz" and R has automatically classified this as a factor, but I need it numerically. However when I use as.numeric() it gives me totally different numbers. Is there any way I can tell R to read thes input as a number? Thank you very much [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

Code Coverage Compile Issue LLVM 10

t.test & p-Value
...ate I do: p.values<-c() for(i in 1:length(Significant[,1])){ p.values[i]<-try(t.test(positive[i,],negative[i,],alternative ="greater")$p.value) } which(p.values<0.01) where Significant is my matrix of genes and their expression in tumors and positive, negative are subsets of thes matrix. Whn p<0.01, I reject the null hypothesis and I accept the alternative one, that I have greater gene expression in positive than in negative. I assume I must be doing sth wrong because the heatmap that I get with the genes that pass the filter of p-value is wrong. Could anyone help me wi...

ca-bundle questions
Sometime in Feb, yum updated something to do with ca-bundle. I didn't notice at the time, but it put these two files on my machine: /etc/pki/tls/certs/ca-bundle.trust.crt.rpmnew and /etc/pki/tls/certs/ca-bundle.crt.rpmnew Both of those on the existing system are symbolic links ca-bundle.trust.crt -> /etc/pki/ca-trust/extracted/openssl/ca-bundle-trust.crt and ca-bundle.crt -> /etc/pki/ca-tru...

Computing loop trip counts with Scalar evolution
Hello. I tried to get the trip count of a loop with Scalar evolution. I got inspired from http://stackoverflow.com/questions/13834364/how-to-get-loop-bounds-in-llvm . However the analysis described there doesn't work well for the second inner loop of thes function below (although if we declare Bcols a short it works well): void MatMul(int Arows, int Acols, int Brows, int Bcols) { short i, j, k; for (i = 0; i < Arows; ++i) { for (j = 0; j < Bcols; ++j) { C[i][j] = 0; for (k = 0; k &l...

vectors of different length in a matrix
HI! I?ve 3 vectors of different length (a,b,c) and want to arrange them in a matrix a,b,c as rows and the figures of these vectors in the columns (with that matrix i want to calculate a distance between thes vectors - vegan - vegdist - horn). Is there a possibilty to create such a matrix and to fill up the missing fields with NA?s automatically???? Thanx marten winter -- *Marten Winter* ________________________...

...is showing in the logs when they try to connect. W2k connects fine and there is logging that they connect and disconnect from shares. I double checked encrypted/plaintext passwords on the win98 box, but neither mode helps. Any help on what to look for or what to do to get logging to appear for thes fails. Network conectivity is there as I can access other services on the linux box. -- Till Later, Jake <karrde+samba@viluppo.net> ----------------------------------------------- Direct replys are likley to be flagged as spam. ...persist through the next track... sometimes it clears up when the next track starts. My hunch is that icecast wants/expects a constant incoming stream of data, and I think if there are any gaps in the incoming stream, it messes it up. It's plausible that the track change is what's causing thes very short gaps in the incoming stream data, and then persist at regular intervals in the outgoing stream to clients for the remainder of the track. PDC: Logging out from Windows XP SP2 takes a long time
I have samba set up as primary domain controller, and have problems with my Windows XP SP2 machines. Logging in is quick, but most of the time (nine out of ten times) the logout process takes a long time - I do end up rebooting, but once I let it stay and it took a whole hour before it was logged out. It seems to act the same way for all users. Possible sources already eliminated: - I have

Again, Windows 7 access to Samba server: Strange performance/delay problems while opening share
...n single Windows 7 client in a simple network setup with one samba server, and various windows clients (Win XP, Windows 7). All clients can open shares with explorer, without any delay (the share contents are listed directly). But one client, a lenovo Windows 7 Laptop has strange problems opening these same shares. The time from opening a share, until the share is listed, varies betwenn (seldom) direct response, and in most cases delays between 3 and 20 seconds, in seldom extrem cases 1-2 minutes. It is does not depend on the switch port. The problem also appears while being connected with oth...

[LLVMdev] Selectively Disable Inlining for Functions
...d control over optimizations at the source level. Being able to say "always force this to be inlined" will make less or more sense as the compiler evolves. In particular, as the compiler gets better at improving code, the decision about what to inline will change, and code that uses thes attributes won't (the authors of the code are unlikely to revisit the attributes after they are written). As one particularly pointed example, the code that uses attributes like 'always inline' are typically written and tuned for GCC, often for old versions of it. GCC and LLVM (obv...
