We were surprised to find that the in-place edit plugin in the
official Rails repository still hasn''t been updated to be functional
with Rails 2, and that it doesn''t support several of the options in
the Scriptaculous code that it wraps.
We worked around these issues in the screencast, but it was messier
than we expected.
If you''ve been struggling with in-place edit, you might find the
screencast helpful.
if you know of a simpler way to handle this, or of any news about the
updating of the plugin, we''d really appreciate any feedback.
