hello all does anyone know of a utility convert OGG to MP3 and prehapes MP3 to OGG? While i use ogg for everything on my computer, my discman only plays MP3 files, so a nice program where i can drag and drop folders to reencode to MP3 would be a very nice thing to have indeed. Kinda like oggdrop but mp3drop. if there isn't i might just attempt to write one (i'm just 1st year university student with a smattering of win32 API/java swing knowlage so i don't know how good/far i'll beable to get) Chris

--- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ Ogg project homepage: http://www.xiph.org/ogg/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'vorbis-request@xiph.org' containing only the word 'unsubscribe' in the body. Hi, I have created a lamedropXPd that will transcode ogg to mp3. Just drop ogg files instead of wave files. You can get it here: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/jfe1205/lamedropXPD-s.zip John ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris" <cl@enposte.net> To: <vorbis@xiph.org> Sent: Friday, November 22, 2002 10:14 AM Subject: [vorbis] OGG --> MP3 conversion app?
> hello all> > does anyone know of a utility convert OGG to MP3 and prehapes MP3 to OGG? > > While i use ogg for everything on my computer, my discman only plays MP3 > files, so a nice program where i can drag and drop folders to reencode > to MP3 would be a very nice thing to have indeed. Use Winamp player(http://www.winamp.com) and its lame-output plugin. I use Winamp for reencoding always, because it is the best way and the easiest tool to reencode audiofiles between different formats, I think.-) -- Andrew mailto:krauz2000@mail.ru

C> hello all C> does anyone know of a utility convert OGG to MP3 and prehapes MP3 to OGG?
