hello all does anyone know of a utility convert OGG to MP3 and prehapes MP3 to OGG? While i use ogg for everything on my computer, my discman only plays MP3 files, so a nice program where i can drag and drop folders to reencode to MP3 would be a very nice thing to have indeed. Kinda like oggdrop but mp3drop. if there isn't i might just attempt to write one (i'm just 1st year university student with a smattering of win32 API/...

Hi all, I used vorbis several years ago because of its freeness and VBR, but after playing ha.org and getting an mp3-capable discman, I switched to APS and API mp3 encoding. Now, I am liking musepack a lot, but the flexibility is more "there" for the vorbis format, including players, tagging comments (lyrics in the comments - killer idea!), etc.... However, I am a bit worried about everything I see on testing/tun...
