Postfix Question
I've googled around and although I get a lot of hits about postfix smarthost authentication with ssl, I can not find out how to actually accomplish the task. I've read through smatterings of postings from Neophasis and the like searching for just the syntax and what file (I assume it's main.cf) I should be using; however, any smtpd_ lines I have tried result in postfix hanging and refusing to deliver mail. I could simply cease using smarthost, but my ip address is dynamic (...

Can I force yum to only use http.
Our outsourced IT department has decided to use white listing on the firewalls for outbound ftp. I was given a list of sites our lab had accessed via ftp and eventually tracked them down to Linux machines running yum. They are all CentOS 5 or 6 with a smattering of 7. It is impractical to list all the possibilities since they change on a regular basis. Also any 3rd party repos we need are another ball of wax. Various Google searches and the manual page have not shown me how to avoid using ftp mirrors. I have considered taking out the ftp-proxy inf...

[LLVMdev] Instruction pattern type inference problem
...ntain integer vectors. At that moment tablegen doesn't seem to be able to infer integer types in patterns that it was able to before, but I'm not clear on why that's the case. This isn't just the results of instructions, but also immediate values as well. It seems to affect a smattering of node types. Any insights? For instance: where GPRegs contains types [i32, f32] def BEQ : IF8<Opc.BEQ, (ops GPRegs:$Rsrc1, GPRegs:$Rsrc2, brtarget:$SImm16), "beq $Rsrc1, $Rsrc2, $SImm16", [(brcond (i32 (seteq GPRegs:$Rsrc1, GPRegs:$Rsr...

actionmailler corrupting emails
Hi All, I have a problem with actionmailer corrupting my html emails. It is adding the character ''3D'' before any quotes (single or double) in my source and smattering ''='' characters throughout as well. Very strange. Here''s an example from one of the emails: ________________ <body> <div id=3D''wrapper''> <div id=3D''main''> <p>Thank you for order with Alien8 Recordings. Bel...

File owner SID instead of name showing for one user
Hello, I recently migrated all data and user accounts from our old Samba file server to a new (Samba 3.4.0 on Unbuntu 9.10) one. Everything is working fine except that there is one user whose SID is showing in the "Owner" column of Windows Explorer instead of the user name. It's not a big problem, but the user is uncomfortable with it and I'd like to know why it's

[LLVMdev] Let's get rid of neverHasSideEffects
..., but features like this work best when they work all the time. If all instructions had patterns, and we could accurately infer properties, it wouldn't be a problem. Ok, I agree with that. I think it's crazy that we still can't write a pattern for copy/move instructions, so we have to smatter attributes on them. What are the other cases that we can't write a pattern for them? I agree that it is sometimes convenient to write Pat<> patterns instead of putting a pattern on an instruction: why not make tblgen also infer predicates from Pat patterns that expand to a single instru...

Puppet vs Oracle Enterprise Manager (cm pack)?
Hey; I''m still very new to puppet having *just* finished the pro puppet book. Going to have to go back to that a few times for re-reading, I suspect. Any rate, I have a client who''s leaning very heavily towards OEM w/the configuration management pack. Despite some fairly exhaustive google sessions, I haven''t been able to find a direct comparison between these

The goal isn't really maximum generality, but support for languages that people care about. Currently that's mostly C and C++, with a smattering of features for some others. But features almost never get added speculatively. At the very least someone needs to care enough to write a patch, and generally we want to be reasonably sure that it'll be maintained. > BTW, in the doc I was reading there was not mention about Quad size nu...
